I got my first Maltese 11 years ago. I have had them and been raising them since. They are small but an active breed. They need a moderate amount of exercise to help mellow them out. Mine do like ttoguard the home and do bark some. Socializing them help desensitize them to strangers which helps them be more welcoming of visitors.  The moms I have now are the 3rd generation of healthy lines.  Dad has been embarked health tested and is clear of any defects.  Dad weighs 8 lbs. The moms weigh 7 and 10 lbs. Pups are raised in my home.  They do not leave until they are 9-10 weeks old at least. They will have age appropriate vaccinations and be wormed before they leave.  Dad is Ckc registered.  Moms are Akc registered.  Pups will come with Ckc registration.
