My first was a standard long hair black and tan that my family purchased when I was eight. She became ill and had to be put down when she was five. As an adult I then purchased Bitsy and had her for 16 wonderful years.  She is still missed today.

My partner and I now have five dachshunds that share our home and furniture with us. Four females, Munchkin (born June 2014) who is now retired; Ginger (born in December 2019), Misty Lulu (born November 2020), Nita (born May 2026), and one male, Diesel (born September 2024). All of our dogs as well as their puppies are registered with the AKC. 

We live on 20 acres in the foothills of the Cascades in Central Washington so that our dogs, as well as their puppies can enjoy both the comforts of home and the great outdoors. All of the puppies we raise are handled from the day they’re born. I believe that no puppy should leave its mama and siblings until 9 weeks as they learn so much during this time period what it takes to be a good doggy citizen. 

All of my pups are registerable with the AKC. The price for a male pup is $1400/limited registration or $1700/full registration. Females are $1500/limited and $1800/full registration. Prices for my pups are based on the amount of time, care, and work that goes in to raising them. Please don't ask if the price can be lowered for "just a pet". 

If you have a female that you are interested in breeding, Diesel is between 16-18 pounds and has a very sweet personality. I charge $500 for a stud fee.

Ginger had her last litter in May of this year.  One pup only.  Marilou is a shaded cream longhair with the biggest personality.  She loves running around both inside and outside playing with her papa and our newest girl, Nita.  She will be ready to go just before the end of July and will have her first shots.

I also keep a running list of interested people. If you would like to be added to my list, send me an email with your name, what you are looking for (male/female, color preference, etc.), and a phone number so I have more than one way to reach you when pups arrive.
