We strive to produce the best possible puppies that we can produce according to the german standard.  We only have a couple of litters per year and we always have a waiting list.  It is highly recommended to contact us in advance to obtain one of our puppies instead of waiting until you are ready to buy.  We do screen our potential buyers and not everyone gets one of our puppies.  We prefer to meet our potential buyers in person, but in the case that we need to ship a puppy we require references including your veterinarian.  If we don't have anything available, we do have a select few breeder friends that we recommend. We do offer stud service to approved females only.  We require the females to be OFA certified as well as have a current brucellosis test (within 10 days of breeding).  We also require to see the female before breeding as well as her pedigree.  We won't breed to anything that has a bad temperament or poor conformation.  We do offer a 2 year hip and health guarantee with all of our puppies.  Any puppy that is purchased as a family companion only will recieve a limited registration on his/her AKC papers.  We do let our show quality puppies go as family companions, but with a limited registration.  I know all of this sounds a bit harsh, but first and foremost our puppies are our kids and we want the very best for them.  Also, we breeders are fighting some very strict, even bogus, dog laws and it all stems from puppy mills and irresponsible breeders, and we are doing our part to try and stop the government from doing away with our breeding rights as well as ownership rights.  Our dogs have outstanding temperaments and are great with kids.  We breed dogs that will not only make wonderful family dogs, but are capable of excelling in therapy work, search and rescue, obedience, assistance dogs, schutzhund and pretty much any task asked of him/her.  If you are interested in one of our puppies feel free to give us a call, but please, no calls before 9:00a.m or after 9:30 p.m. eastern time due to work schedules.
