Lakeside English Springer Spaniels

I started showing dogs in 4-H - over 40 years ago and I'm still involved and showing Springers. I am an AKC "Breeder of Merit" and a member of the English Springer Spaniel Parent Club.  We have a limited number of dogs and most of my dogs I exhibit myself, mostly in the bred-by-exhibitor classes.  My son showed in junior handling.

My dogs are screened for hip & elbow dysplasia, thyroid, eye disorders & phosphofructokinase.  X-rays are submitted to OFA for evaluation and certification. DNA testing is done on parents and puppies.

PUPPIES:  See "Inquiries" below for information. If I don't have what you're looking for, I can forward your inquiry to another breeder. I know many breeder/exhibitors who may have puppies. I will send you a questionnaire to complete which helps me with placement decisions.

ADULTS: 2 adult females. Darby: 7 years old, very active. Needs to be spayed prior to placement. Gracie: just turned 6 on 9/5/23. Very active. She is spayed. Both girls have OFA cerfified hips and elbows and are PRA tested. Both current on rabies vaccines. Gracie just had a complete blood panel done, all normal. 

GROOMING:  If you're in San Diego County, I am happy to discuss grooming with you, regardless of whom you acquire your dog from.
