Startop Labradors is a small hobby kennel located in the Adirondack region of Upstate NY.
I am an AKC Breeder Of Merit. I raise and show Champion English Labrador Retrievers in black, yellow & chocolate. All litters produced are bred with the intent to keep a prospect for the show ring. The pet puppies are then placed into screened and approved homes on AKC limited registration.
I strive to improve my lines with every breeding and so my dogs are all screened for genetic disorders  

OFA hips & elbows, ACVO, Cardiac testing and DNA testing for PRA, EIC, HNPK prior to breeding.
Much research and time goes into selecting the parents for each litter. My objective is to produce a beautiful Labrador that is sound in temperament and health with correct conformation.
Puppies are raised inside our home with lots of love and are well socialized before they go their new families at 8 weeks of age.
Puppies will have received their first shots, have been de-wormed at least 3 times, will be micrcochipped and will have been seen by my veterinarian for a thorough health exam so you are assured of a happy, healthy addition to your family that I, as the breeder will stand behind.
All Startop Labradors leave with a 25 month written hip guarantee and a seamless health insurance opportunity with Trupanion Pet Insurance. 
Show prospects are kept here for my own breeding program. My true love is being in the show ring and I enjoy exhibiting my Labradors in AKC conformation competitions. My breeding program is my hobby and not a business.
I am available to answer any questions families might have about their new puppy for as long as they need us.
I will gladly open my door to any puppy I've bred for the rest of it's life should it's new family ever find that they cannot keep it.
Stud service is available to approved females.
